The Rockaway kitchen is run by Marta and Sadie, who create a selection of delicious vegan main meals, roasts, snacks and cakes. Everything is home cooked and made with fresh ethically-sourced ingredients, as well as produce from our Community Forest Garden.

Here at the Vegan Café we're super excited to introduce you to our new weekday menu.

From Monday to Friday, 12pm - 2pm, why not come and try our variety of delicious dishes. While on Saturdays, you can tuck into our juicy Rockaway home-made burgers!

Our chef, Sadie, has travelled over 23 countries tasting her way across the globe and back, and has carefully selected some of her favourite recipes to cook for you in our newly-heated café.

Come in for lunch and bring your friends, or come alone and meet wonderful new people. There's no need to book. However, if there are more than 4 of you, letting us know in advance via the contact button below would be very helpful and much appreciated.

If you'd like to arrange a meeting or a get together over food outside the lunch service hours, we'd be very happy to discuss your catering options.

With saag aloo tandoori aubergine, rice & butter naan (GF option available)

Classic Italian Lasagne - £8

Made with lentils & soy mince, served with Mediterranean salad & garlic bread

SUNDAYS AT THE CAFE

Sunday roasts are usually served throughout the month from 12pm - 3pm. They are well publicised in advance and often sell out. If you haven't been to one yet, you really need to give it a go!

The dining areas are located outside or under open-sided cover, with plenty of healthy ventilation (if a little chilly in bad weather.) Tables aren't booked in advance, only your Sunday roast, so you can choose where you'd like to eat, while taking in the sights and sounds of Rockaway. Once a month, we hold a Sunday Session with music, plus an exciting array of market stalls with local independent traders selling arts, crafts, herbal remedies, clothing and Rockaway ethically created merch.

To help us avoid food waste, you'll need to book and pay for your Sunday roast in advance by clicking on the relevant image in the roast galleries. Once your order has been processed, you'll receive emailed confirmation of payment, plus details about your meal options and time slot.
