A scarce 7” vinyl release from UK underground legends The Astronauts, issued via All The Madmen Records as part of the Seven Inch Singles Club series.
The Singles Club was a run of small-batch 7” releases following the label’s relaunch — bringing together artists connected to the UK DIY and anarcho punk scene, while keeping the handmade, independent approach the label is known for.
This EP features “Typically English Day” alongside re-recorded versions of earlier material, including “New Dixieland Blues” — a great snapshot of the band’s long-running presence in the underground.
This edition is pressed on translucent yellow vinyl and comes housed in a printed sleeve with simple, striking DIY artwork. This version was not part of the hand-numbered /300 run and does not include an insert — this is exactly how this colour variant was originally issued.
Condition: Near Mint. Not sealed, but never played.
A great collectible piece from one of the UK’s long-standing underground innovators, and a strong addition to any All The Madmen / DIY punk collection.
