GALLERY

The Rockaway Gallery is a new, dedicated space for visual arts, created to showcase the work of our talented resident artists and specially invited exhibitors who align with the Rockaway ethos.

Located next to the Chapel of Unrest, the gallery reinforces the creative hub at the heart of the park, providing a professional and welcoming environment for visitors to experience contemporary art.

Past Exhibitions:

The gallery has already hosted a range of compelling exhibitions, demonstrating its commitment to authentic and thought-provoking work.

Lucy McLauchlan: All Roads Lead to Rockaway. Lucy McLauchlan, renowned for her vast monochrome murals across Europe, Asia, and the US, returned after 18 months of recovery with bold new works at the Rockaway Gallery.

La Linterna + Mule: An exhibition of agitpop, anti-war prints created between master printers of La Linterna in Cali, Colombia and English artist and printer Mule. These works combined hand-cut lino and letterpress techniques with underground counter-culture aesthetics, bold patterns, layered textures, and strong type.

Pitlad Photography Exhibition: An exhibition celebrating authentic, unstaged moments of real life, featuring iconic works alongside new images reflecting the lives of Rockaway’s workers and residents.

Manufacture: Simon Wildgoose Exhibition: A showcase for an artist who merges print with acrylic paint, creating a fluid synthesis of texture and form influenced by abstract expressionism.

With more monthly exhibitions planned for 2026, we will also be hosting artists in residence for Spring + Summer 2026. If you are an artist looking to exhibit your work please get in touch with us.
