Print up a unique work of wearable art with Premium Junk Mail!

In this beginner friendly workshop you will explore block printing techniques for fabric, with the very enthusiastic printmaker, Andy.

Over the course of the day you will design and carve your very own printing block, learn which inks are washing machine safe, how to use your block to upcycle clothes that need a new lease of life and take home your very own printed garment.

Workshop starts at 10am, with a short introduction to Lino printing tools and materials, health, safety and environmental concerns.

A break for lunch from 1-2pm.

And the workshop coming to an end at 4pm.

You will need to bring:

A garment of your choice:

Bring something plain in colour (non patterned) and avoid overly stretchy fabrics like Lycra or very thin fabric like organza and chiffon.

Denim, a plain t-shirt or button down shirt are the perfect places to start for a beginner.

Everything else will be provided within the workshop, including tools, inks, flash sheets for inspiration, some take home documents and my very own collection of printing blocks for any additional quick use design elements. You are very welcome to bring your own tools if you have them.
