Join us for a hands-on, in-depth introduction to the craft of seitan — the ancient wheat-based protein with deep roots in Buddhist cuisine and plant-based food culture.
This workshop blends history, practical skills, and live demonstrations, guiding you through the origins of seitan before rolling up our sleeves and getting to work. Over the course of the workshop, you’ll learn how to make three distinct styles of seitan, each with its own flavour profile, preparation method, and culinary use.
You’ll leave with recipe cards, freshly made seitan to take home, and the confidence to recreate everything in your own kitchen straight away. Whether you’re new to plant-based cooking or looking to deepen your skills, this workshop is designed to be accessible, informative, and deeply satisfying.
Please note: This workshop is not suitable for those with gluten allergy or sensitivity.
